Challenge
High-growth organization seeking modernization
This restaurant group had a very high-growth business that included physical locations, online sales, and third-party delivery services. However, they only had a small back-office team to support their growing business. This team was responsible for processes such as monthly reporting, credit card receivables, and UberEats and DoorDash transactions.
Leadership was seeking modernization efforts to add new technology to their organization to reduce strain on their back-office team and to reduce or avoid future hiring costs as the company grew. They also sought to understand where they could find cost avoidance opportunities as they continued to set themselves up for growth and the opening of more stores.
Solution
ETL Essentials
This organization trusted WonderBotz to assess their back-office operations. WonderBotz implemented ETL Essentials and was able to launch within six months. Drawing data from the client’s ERP systems, ETL Essentials generated standardized outputs for internal reporting and reconciliation. For example, one automation downloads a report, applies it to the correct account, validates it, and uploads the CSV file to Restaurant365 to complete the journal entry. The finance team will be able to update parameters and reuse these automations in the future, giving them a scalable, self-sustaining solution that empowers them to automate future workflows independently.
WonderBotz was able to deliver seven automations within the first six months. This set the organization up to find more cost avoidance opportunities as they continue to set up for further growth and the opening of more stores in the coming years.
