Manual report generation became a burden for a 6,000+ hotel portfolio, demanding an automated report generation solution to improve accuracy, scalability, and workflow efficiency. The hotelier’s portfolio revenue management team used a master worksheet to track reporting schedules and bookings for the company’s multiple locations.
Reports were generated from embedded macros, which required continuous maintenance. The file was hosted on SharePoint and was often modified incorrectly, which resulted in rework and lost time impacting downstream analysis.
