Challenge
Hours of manual translation stood between production and compliance
Every filled batch record came off the line in Swedish. Before it could support regulatory reporting, partner communication, or an international audit, someone had to translate it and re-key the data into English by hand, form after form, across more than thirty document types.
The work was slow and unforgiving. A single record could take about four hours, and every manual re-key risked introducing an error into a GMP-controlled document. Under EU GMP and ALCOA+ data-integrity expectations, those errors were not rework; they were compliance exposure the business could not carry at scale.
Solution
How Claude Sonnet reads and rebuilds each batch record
The team engaged WonderBotz, which leveraged proprietary frameworks and accelerators to build an automated batch-record translation solution on Anthropic’s Claude Sonnet model, called through the Claude API. Filled forms, handwritten and typed, are read using intelligent document processing (IDP), then structured, translated, and rebuilt as a completed English-language PDF that mirrors the original layout. A self-training module lets the team add and manage new form templates without rebuilding the pipeline.
What once took hours now takes minutes. Coverage has grown to more than thirty trained template pairs, with a quality-assurance overlay guarding accuracy on every record. A commercial web portal with single sign-on and self-service template training, proposed for production on Azure AI Foundry, will extend the approach across the wider document set.
