The hospitality firm’s remote audit process determines whether each hotel’s activities, services, and resources are being managed efficiently and effectively. Auditors undertake this process by generating nearly a dozen reports from the company’s Property Management System (PMS), assessing the information, and preparing an audit. A large team performed the cumbersome process, but because the PMS was frequently slow, it often needed help to keep up. Operations leadership recognized that the team needed to be utilized more efficiently.
WonderBotz ReportBotz solution was implemented. The automation connects to Opera and uses externalized business rules to navigate the system and produce the required reports. Auditors trigger it on-demand through email. It then zips all downloads into a single file which it uploads to a separate revenue compliance and audit system for review by revenue managers. Once all items are processed, the automation generates and emails a completion report to team members and sends alerts if any exceptions are encountered during processing.
