Challenge

This hotelier distribution strategy team audits several hotel chains in China. Team members log into the CTRIP hotel management platform to retrieve room and revenue data. The system was frequently updated, highly unstable, and written in Chinese. This required ongoing maintenance of code by someone with native language experience. Earlier automation efforts had disappointing results. Leadership sought a more resilient solution design approach.

Solution

A WonderBotz solution design team helped to reimagine the automation. The improved version randomly selects a hotel from the master audit list. Resilient objects connect to the CTRIP application and quickly navigate the different screens for retrieving hotel data. Updated process logic includes enhanced error handling, reducing the maintenance required from the client’s RPA team.
