Challenge

The hotelier’s portfolio revenue management team used a master worksheet to track reporting schedules and discrete requirements for the company’s 6,000+ lodgings. Reports were generated from embedded macros, which required ongoing maintenance. The file was hosted on SharePoint and was often modified incorrectly, which resulted in rework and lost time and impacted downstream analysis. Leadership needed a solution that was easier to maintain and could scale to meet increased workloads.

Solution

WonderBotz ReportBotz+ uses business rules to look up each hotel and analyze its reporting requirements. Externalized logic written in plain English performs the same calculations as done previously by macros without the need for programming expertise. The solution notifies the processing team of any exception cases requiring additional review. Once reports are generated, the solution sends an email notification to hotel management to inform them of successful processing.
