The hotelier operations team periodically verifies viewership for the hotel rate codes that control pricing. Their process required validating data in up to 8 different subsystems for 17 of its hotel brands and creating and activating any missing codes. Each subsystem had unique interfaces and required additional access credentials. The CoE’s attempts to automate the process delivered disappointing results- they needed an enhanced solution to improve resiliency and achieve desired productivity gains.
WonderBotz solution designers, working with the COE, updated the automation design to handle the system access issues with robust credential management to prevent the adverse impact of the exceptions. The solution uses Javelin to inspect the activated account and validate viewership for each hotel brand. It alerts the operations team when accounts are inactive or cannot be located. Once complete, the solution updates the account status in Javelin and an offline status tracker stored in a secure folder.
