Challenge

Throughout the organization and especially in finance, team members reconcile global and regional account period activities at various levels (e.g., entity, location, product) using similar data sources. Employees would manually download data and compile report packages for their use and distribution. This cumulatively time-consuming process was a distraction from analysis activities. Finance leadership wanted a solution to standardize the process across multiple departments and enable teams to focus on creating insights.

Solution

We implement WonderBotz ReportBotz+, enabling business users to easily create and maintain report package configurations. The solution utilizes multiple data sources and handles user-defined cross-functional business rules to perform data validation, calculations, and manipulations. The solution dynamically generates reconciliations and reports and can prepare and process journal entry transactions on demand. Distribution logic instructs the automation on whether generated reports should be emailed, uploaded to SharePoint, or sent via Web ADI.
