Challenge

The billing and collections team members need to gather crucial supporting documentation to complete their assignments. To do that, they had to determine the correct contact person for the files, reach out by email or other means, and wait for a response. This time-consuming process led to delays in downstream workflows and frustrated end users. Finance team leadership wanted to eliminate these delays and get team members the documents they needed.

Solution

The solution retrieves inquiries from employees for specific contracts, agreements, PO, or invoice documents, as well as any key data inputs. The solution uses business rules to locate the records and stores them in a pre-defined central repository. These business rules are scalable and can easily be updated to include new document types and workflows. The solution notifies the employee of the completed request or alerts the team if an exception has been encountered.
