This large business services fintech has been using Blue Prism RPA as part of its core client value proposition for many years. They were beginning to experience performance issues attributable to their original infrastructure setup. Also, some of their older automations relied on Microsoft Internet Explorer, support for which is to be discontinued by Microsoft in August 2022. Fintech wanted new infrastructure and, concurrently, to upgrade their BP version and move browser components to Google Chrome.
WonderBotz began by designing and deploying the new infrastructure across the client’s multiple environments. We used our Blue Prism Analyzer to assess existing automations for IE exposure and code quality, and established the improvement schedule. While completing setup for the new infrastructure, we began converting the existing applications and migrating them to the upgraded Blue Prism version, including enhancements and regression testing. Lastly, the improved and converted automations were moved over to production in phases.
