Challenge

As a retailer, this company needs to file sales and use taxes monthly reports in the municipalities where it conducts business to stay in compliance. Reporting team members first downloaded information from the company’s intranet and external websites. The pieces were combined and formatted in a single workbook which was then shared. This was a high-touch, repetitive process with potential data-entry errors. Finance team leadership sought a solution to quickly and accurately complete the end-to-end process

Solution
