Challenge

The finance controller from each hotel sends accounts receivable aging data to finance leadership by email. Administration manually tracked overdue items and contacted the hotel controller to provide action plans. Furthermore, data from the controller sometimes needed to be corrected, leading to additional delays in processing. Earlier automation resulted in an increased manual effort due to design flaws. Finance wanted improved automation that reduced human intervention.

Solution

WonderBotz solution designers worked with the client team to reimagine the processing logic. The enhanced solution retrieves the AR aging report from an FTP server and stores details on a secure database. The automation notifies the hotel GM if additional data is needed and follows up with reminders. During the SLA period, it validates the data and generates monthly and annual tracking reports distributed to hotel management. The improved solution design runs unattended with no manual intervention needed.
